We are building a community-owned, community-powered platform, to grow our reach and impact across business and health.
Research objectives
1. To ensure psychological safety through providing anonymous chats that are designed to ask questions that draw out your unique lived experience and expertise.
2. To design a new way of working with the energy impaired through using chat-bot based research that is able to have an engaging and empathetic conversation with a vulnerable audience who are likely to have daily cognitive and energy impairment .
3. To empower the community to showcase their widespread expertise and collective intelligence on both the problems and the solutions (directly and indirectly related to pandemics and post-acute viral impacts).
4. To test a new creative self-data feedback device - “the selfboard” to provide evidence of your work / contribution and provide feedback on the use of your insights (that AI will synthesise for policy makers)
5. To start crowdfunding for investment to build a policy makers platform that will be able to combine local and community data for better pandemic decision making (public health agencies, researchers and systems change / transformation leaders in private and public hospitals)
Data collection
Each chat entry will be anonymous and logged in the Co-EQ platform by user ID and kept secure on a cloud server in Europe (via Digital Ocean hosting company)
Personal data fields required for the project will be first name, email, health condition, work impact and /or social disability categories. At a later date we may ask for further location, socio-demographic data also.
Name will be required to personalise your experience
Health condition will help us highlight the “shopping list” of health problems each person is living with and for policy makers to filter between them
Work impact will help us educate business about the ongoing pandemic’s impact to employment and labour market
Social disability will help us understand the different groups that may fall under the “unpatient” umbrella - a new language to describe the population of people who have are not in the existing healthcare system
Other data we may also ask for at a later date
Location (city/ state) - geo data can help us build a map and target questions to your area/ country
Gender data can help us understand and communicate a wider women’s health education - equity issue.
Data management
Participants will be asked permission to process their data for the following known purposes:
Anonymous chat responses that we process at an aggregate level to analyse for policy makers
Self-analytics and feedback at an individual level - this enables us to deliver individual feedback to you about your advocacy activity and categorise the themes and ideas in your responses
Group analytics and insights at an aggregate level which may be displayed on a website, ad and marketing materials, business training, promotional and design workshops
Other uses may include strategy docs, fundraising
Personal stories will be anonymised and followup permission requested by email if required
You can delete your profile and all your data at any time or by sending an email to hello@co-eq.app
